Welcome to the Church Festival Heavenly Days!
The festival Heavenly Days takes place during the Ascension Holiday on May 26th-29th, 2022, in Roskilde.
Here, you can experience over 400 events about faith, society, debate and much more.
Heavenly Days is an ecumenical festival. That is, a collaboration between various Christian churches, organizations, and associations.
Heavenly Days is an ecumenical (communal) event that has been held every three years since 1971.
The purpose of Heavenly Days is i.a. to
• Create a framework and community for people who ask for and seek the Christian faith.
• Contribute to the international Christian community and fellowship
To this end, Heavenly Days and other open fora are held where people with widely differing lines of work, church traditions, confessions, theology and forms of expression, across generations, cultures and ethnicities, come together and where thoughts and opinions are shared and confronted.
